so yo, its sunday so you know what that means. another week of Battle at the Berrics just wrapped up. todays match was between PJ LADD and ANDREW REYNOLDS (THE BOSS). the game was pretty siiiick, it was exactly what i expected. a good head to head, back and forth match. i mean cmon, its between two well known skateboarders. PJ LADD whos known for being crazy, just like Mike Mo. and, PJ's all over the es games of skate. going against foos like Eric Koston and Chris Cole and all them. so hes for sure on that top knotch status. then you got Andrew Reynolds whos been in the game for years. bustin out his signature frontside flips down huge stairs and what not. foo was in all the Tony Hawks Pro Skaters video games and his nick name is THE BOSS. they dont call him that for no reason. so anyways the game of SKATE was pretty sick. a good head to head battle. so yo, to all you filipinos and fans of boxing, im sorry to say that the Pacquiao vs Hatton fight is officially OFF.

The proposed fight between Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton, targeted for May 2 in Las Vegas, is officially off.
Bob Arum, Pacquiao’s promoter, said Pacquiao failed to meet a deadline imposed by Hatton to have the deal signed and both fighters have decided to go their separate ways. Richard Schaefer of Golden Boy Promotions, Hatton’s promoter, said the same thing.
The parties initially agreed to a 50-50 split of the purse, several sources said, but Pacquiao later demanded a 60-40 split and then rejected a compromise offer.
“Pacquaio wouldn’t accept the terms,” Arum said. “(Hatton’s promoter) Richard (Schaefer) and (Ricky) Hatton imposed a deadline, I tried to get them to sign a contract, Manny declined, the deadline came and went, the fight was called off.
“Simple as that.”

The most-intriguing potential opponent for Pacquiao is Floyd Mayweather Jr., who is retired for the moment. Other than that, the possibilities are wide open, but no other match up would approach a Hatton or Mayweather fight in scope
Hatton has instructed Schaefer to begin negotiations with Mayweather for a rematch of their 2007 fight – won by Mayweather – or go after the winner of the Feb. 28 Juan Manuel Marquez-Juan Diaz fight.
Schaefer also said Hatton wants to know whether De La Hoya might be interested in fighting him in England should De La Hoya decide to continue fighting.

so yo, yesterday zaldy, trishna and me had to do our power point presentation on white supremacy and racial othering. me and zaldy got to class abit late cause we did last minute touches on our project and we stopped by the student store to get some food. sall good tho... our teaher does care if were too late. whats he gonna do anyways? he wanna step?! we take the shit out side and squash it! well we walked into class fashionably late and zaldy with his food. so our teacher knew where we went. but he didnt say shit. which is good cause if he did hed probably have to eat his dinner or late night snack through a tube. well we got to class and sat down right as the 1st group was doing their presentation. i dont know what their shit was on. i wasnt paying too much attention even tho zaldy, trishna and me had to grade them. since i wasnt didnt know what the hell theyre were yappin about, i just graded them using the old high school grading system. which is, if youre coo with me, then ill give you full credit. but if youre a dick or if i straight up just dont like you, then ima have to ask you a shit load of questions and shit. but group 1 is coo, so full credit for them. anyways they finished doing their thang and our group was up next. i think us 3 were abit nervous cause our project wasnt as long as theres. i mean our presentation was to be about 25 minutes long. but our shit would only take about 7 - 10 minutes. but we had a back up plan. we decided that as soon as awe finish saying our parts, well just pop in the movie American History X and show them some scenes. so that right there saved us. it got the whole class into the topic. so after showin the movie we were open for any class questions. we answered quite a few and that was it. the chick next to me said we did really good. and i was like damn right we did. you think id go up there and make a fool of myself? FUCK NAW homie! so yeah. i gave zaldy a BONES and after that it was all smooth sailin!

WHAT A DAY...

so yo, today was one hot mess... one, the weather was hotter than usual and two, zaldy and me got nowhere with our project until just now. we worked on the shit from 1:30 to about 1:40, left for staples and robeks and saw mike santos. we went to study at starbucks. it was pretty hot outside so we left for azers. got there and walked around walnut high school to see how cool its gotten since we graduated. which is probably 0% cooler. we checked the walnut library but that shit was closed... why the fuck is the library closed on mondays and open on saturdays... just doesnt make sense. well after that we checked next door at the teen center to see if we can study in their study room but that place was just too infested with underaged bitches. too many underaged kids. too much jail bait. haha but really tho. us college students shouldnt be in a fuckin teen center full of little kids. we got a college library and shit. thats where we outta be. so we ended up going there. we saw a rare James Grover sighting and we came across a Toyota Rex. i know you may not have heard of it but its some old ass car Toyota used to make. shit was crazy. anyways me and zaldy stayed at the Mt. Sac library for about 15 minutes until we headed back to my place. the library was just too hot and quiet. we did more thinking about if were noisy rather than thinking about our project. haha. but we came back to my pad and we put our thinking caps on and finished our powerpoint project for our sociology class. our shit is about white supremacy and racial otherings, and our presentation has to be 40 minutes long. YES. 40 MINUTES LONG... well just finished right now. we spent about 4 hours going from place to place and avoiding our project. hahaha. but were done. and im fuckin spent.

so far in the battle at the berrics 18 games of SKATE have been settled. and of those 18 i have won 11. my chances of winning are still good and plus theres still 12 more games of SKATE to go. so hopefully my winning streak will carry on.
